Campanulaceae: A tufted rhizome perennial to 25–50cm. Bell-shaped flowers of azure blue, grouped in rich panicles, from July to September. A heat-loving species that grows on rocky steppes, on exposed slopes or in forest-steppe stands. Closely related to Campanula rotundifolia. In addition to Moravia, is also reported from southern Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, and Romania. Originally collected from Drahan Highlands, Moravia.
Rapidly germinating, keep seed in constant moisture (not wet) with temperatures of about +20°C [68°F]. Seeds must be covered thinly. Do not cover very small seeds, but tightly press into the earth. Likes a well-drained in full sun.
