A hardy perennial, forming large clumps, 50cm (20"), large pendant, bell-shaped flowers, pink and white with maroon freckles on the inside. Well-drained soil. Choose a position in full sun or semi shade.
The flowers can be used as garnishes but are also dried and then cooked in Asian cuisine.
These seeds germinate rapidly depending on species and origin. If germination does not occur after 3–4 weeks a cooling period of 2–4 weeks is recommended.
