Asteraceae: A perennial
forming small clumps of slender purplish un-branches stems to 8ocm, with whirls
of narrow lanceolate sharply serrated leaves with a purple cast below, at
regular spacing up the stems. Bearing
terminal corymbs of funnel-formed dark pink-white flowers summer-autumn. Originally
collected from Kõjedo Island on south coast of Korea back in 2010.
This plant is used as an
Asian medical herb.
Easily grown in a
well-drained soil in good light. Surface sow seeds, warm.
