Dipsacaceae: a large perennial to 180 cm. Forming a clump of pinnately lobed basal leaves. Tall, branched stems carrying light yellow flower-heads to 6cm across in summer. Native to Caucasus, Siberia.
These seeds germinate rapidly depending on species and origin. If germination does not occur after 3–4 weeks a cooling period of 2–4 weeks is recommended. Full sun to part shade, well-drained sheltered site.
